The Old Wanderer is one of the new 13 V Blood bosses added in the Gloomrot update to V Rising. This boss does not wait in a single spot like Maja the Dark Savant or Grethel the Glassblower. Fortunately, this boss isn’t as hard to defeat as the others and gives you the Shroud of the Forest cloak. Where to Find Old Wanderer in V Rising

Old Wanderer is a Level 62 boss and can be found in the Cursed Forest. As you can see above, the Old Wanderer patrols this road. If you somehow lose the Old Wanderer in battle, you can find him again on this path.
How to Defeat Old Wanderer in V Rising
Surprisingly, the Old Wanderer is extremely simple to defeat. This boss almost doesn’t even try to hit you; he just laughs at you and runs away from you all the time. However, if you somehow lose him in the middle of a battle, it may take a while to find him again. Worse than that, he may have regenerated health in the meantime. This is because Cursed Forest is extremely foggy and easy to get lost in.
- The Old Wanderer cast 3 bubbles that slow you down a lot when they hit you. Meanwhile, the boss can run away from you and disappear into the mist.
- Another move of this boss is a green attack from the top down to a certain area. However, these are simple to avoid.
- There are two main things to look out for when fighting this boss. One is not to lose the boss and the second is not to get caught in the bubbles.
- The best thing you can do to make sure the boss doesn’t get away from you is to get a spear. You can pull the boss to you when he tries to run away from you with the spear.
- Another thing that will make this boss easy to defeat is the Veil of Frost. With this skill, you can slow down the boss and prevent him from escaping you.
- Finally, the skeletons around you will damage you hard. You can use the Ward of the Damned ability to avoid them and focus on the boss more easily.
