Continue reading to know how to get Memory 1 in Tears of the Kingdom.
How to get Memory 1 in Tears of the Kingdom
To get Memory 1 in Tears of the Kingdom, you must start one of the most important quests in the game: “Recovering the Hero’s Sword,” the Master Sword. There aren’t many indicators of where to look for it, but if you have played Breath of the Wild, your best bet is to go to Korok Forest. To get there, you will have to approach it through the Depths.
Near the Lost Woods entrance, there is a small chasm that will get you to the Depths. Follow the road ahead while trying to survive the enemies that lurk underground, as well as the Gloom. There is a Gloom Spawn near the place you will want to get. If you feel you are powerful enough, you could battle it. Be aware, however, that after defeating a Gloom Spawn, you will have to fight a version of Phantom Ganon.
You can skip this fight and go straight to an underground structure that is completely aligned with the Korok Forest on the surface. Go ahead and use your Ascend ability, and you will arrive at Korok Forest. You will see that Gloom has consumed the forest. Get inside the Great Deku Tree, and you will find another chasm that will drop you to a lower area.
Now you will have to fight another Gloom Spawn and, consequently, another Phantom Ganon. This will be the final step to unlock Memory 1 in Tears of the Kingdom. Be sure to evade his attacks and keep your distance since he will soak the floor with Gloom. Use your Flurry Rush as you nail Perfect Dodges, and you will eventually beat him. Once you do, go back to the surface, and you will be able to talk to the Great Deku Tree.
When you talk to the Great Deku Tree, he will wonder why you don’t have the Master Sword. This will then trigger a Memory, which is Memory 1, in which Zelda and Link arrive at Korok Forest to once again retrieve the Master Sword. He will then point you in the direction of the Master Sword on your map, which is located on the Light Dragon.
