Among the many materials you can collect during your adventure, getting Lizalfos Tails in Tears of the Kingdom can be a real challenge. Not only do these relatively common enemies, the Lizalfos, possess several attacks that could knock you out, but they come in all shapes and forms. Fire, Shock, Ice, you name it. Fortunately, we are tackling the standard version of the Lizalfos to collect their tails. Be wary, though, they still pack a punch. Here is where to find Lizalfos Tails in Tears of the Kingdom.

To find some Lizalfos Tails, you will have to encounter some Lizalfos. You will be able to find the standard version of the enemy in grassy areas around the world, especially the Lanayru province. Once you find him, be sure to rush him and deal the most amount of damage. They have quite a lot of different attacks. They can use their tongue to attack you at a distance, and they can attack you with a melee weapon or even use their tails and horns that can cost you several hearts.

Once you defeat the Lizalfos, if you are lucky, you will be able to collect a Lizalfos Tails. Alternatively, you can purchase some Lizalfos Tails in Kara Kara Bazar, in Gerudo Desert. Once you collect them, use them to upgrade some of your gear. You can use them to enhance some elixir effect durations. You can also use them to enhance your melee weapons and arrow shots. They will grant a +6 weapon damage and, due to their form, will increase your melee weapon’s range. Think of them as a whip attack once fused.

Be sure to keep track of the Lizalfos’ attacks. They can be really sneaky, and the fact that they keep jumping from one side to another. This makes it difficult to keep track of them. Use a weapon that is fast and has range, such as a spear, and you will be able to take it while remaining safe from its attacks. If the Lizalfos does, in fact, try to attack you, block, parry, or jump away, you will remain unscathed.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available now on Nintendo Switch.
