Yesterday, Mashable was handed a short 27-second video featuring Kit Harington. No, it’s not a Game of Thrones or Jon Snow leaked or spoiler (is it!?), but it’s still pretty darn cool.
According to unnamed sources, Harington is in the midst of working with the team at Activision for the next Call of Duty installment due out this fall. In the video you can see Harington being wheeled into a large, lit up structure. What is it you ask? Why the sudden tie to massive video game franchise? Well, it’s a motion capture device!
Mashable is also keen to point out (via ESPN) that the image below of NFL star Marshawn Lynch, shows him in a similar type of rig when preparing for his minor role in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 last year:
To be clear, there is no confirmation that these reports are true, yet. With E3 just days away and Activision doing its own thing at the show, we’ll see if an appearance or announcement around Harington’s involvement actually happens. Entertainment Weekly also states that they’ve been told more information is on its way this week.
