To complete Hebra’s Colossal Fossil Side Quest in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you’ll need to find and replace the missing pieces of the 2nd leviathan extinct in Hebra. To unlock this quest, you must first complete the Eldin’s Colossal Fossil quest. You can then start the mission by talking to Loone at the Hebra Great Skeleton location. After you complete this Side Quest in TotK, you will get Purple Rupee, which is worth 50 Rupees.
Where To Find Hebra’s Colossal Fossil
This mission is located in Hebra Great Skeleton Cave at coordinates -3812, 3592, 0257. The entrance to this cave is a huge gate. Once inside, glide deeper into the cave with the help of your Paraglider, and you will see Loone at the Campfire. When you start talking, you can tell Loone’s excitement in her tone, and she tells you that some of the leviathan’s bones are missing. Then she shows you which bones are missing but knows they are close by.
Here are the steps you can follow to complete Hebra’s Colossal Fossil:
- Glide down, and you will see a big block of ice right next to where the leviathan’s rib cage is located.
- The first piece is located inside this ice. Melt this ice with something fiery like a fire fruit.
- Use your Ultrahand ability to replace the missing piece of the Spine. You have to align it with the other bone pieces to place it exactly. You can tell from the short animation that you correctly placed the bone.
Then, when you pass under the arch formed by the Spine bone, you will see the bone inside the wall. You will need a Hammer or an explosive to get this bone out. Once you have taken the bone out, the place to put it is exactly behind you on the wall.
Finally, go back to Loone and talk to her. Hebra’s Colossal Fossil Side Quest in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom will then be completed.
The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is available on Nintendo Switch.
