Smiting Aspect is a legendary offensive-type aspect available to all classes. And you can put it on 1H and 2H Weapons, Gloves, Rings, and Amulets. Due to Smiting Aspect, you have a 10-20% increased Critical Strike Chance against Injured enemies (if the enemy is below 35% HP). In addition, while you are Healthy (80% or more HP), you gain 20- 40% increased Crowd Control Duration. These effects allow you to get pretty powerful buffs without the complex requirements. So this aspect can be helpful to any class at different stages of the gameplay.
Unfortunately, due to the rather powerful effect of this aspect, you cannot unlock it in your Codex of Power. So the only way to get Smiting Aspect in Diablo 4 is to extract it from legendary items by visiting Occultist. You can find this NPC in big cities, so it’s not a problem.
