If you’ve ever encountered the Butcher in a Diablo 4 dungeon, you know he can be quite a pain. The Butcher is a mini-boss that likes to show up in dungeons when you’re least expecting him to. He deals crazy damage, but he drops some nice loot. Sometimes, you might even be able to pick up a unique weapon from him. While the Butcher may be more annoying than anything, it’s worth fighting him and reaping the benefits of taking down this fearsome foe. Keep reading to learn how to find and defeat the Butcher in Diablo 4.

You can find the bitcher in any dungeon run. It can be a Nightmare Dungeon or just a typical dungeon. However, the Butcher has a slight chance of spawning, so there’s never a guarantee that he will appear. The Butcher usually shows up once or twice out of 20 dungeon runs. However, when he decides to show up, you will know it. You will see a large mass of enemies covered in chains screaming, “Fresh meat” at you. As soon as you hear the phrase, be on the lookout because you’re about to face one of the most challenging mini-bosses in Diablo 4.

How To Defeat the Butcher in Diablo 4

The Butcher is easily one of the harder mini-bosses in Diablo 4, but he isn’t impossible to take down. Before you head into any dungeon hoping to take down the Butcher, you’ll want to make sure you have good armor and even better weapons. It’s also a great idea to fine-tune your build to ensure it works exactly like it should. This may take a while, but it’s almost necessary if you plan to defeat the Butcher.

As you begin your fight with the Butcher in Diablo 4, It shouldn’t be long before you notice his attacks are relatively slow. This means you can dodge his attacks and get decent amounts of damage while he is attacking and preparing to attack. Ideally, it would be best if you dodged behind him when he began to attack and got some damage dealt while he was busy. Watch for all his attack indicators and stay close to him. We’ve found that melee builds work the best for taking down the Butcher.

She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
