Ever since the release of the Prey 2 trailer during the 2011 E3 fans have been clamoring for some more information on the game. It’s been five years since that game’s initial announcement and there have been rumors after rumors as to what happened to the project. One rumor, in particular, turned out to be true, that one being Arkane Studios taking over the reigns from Human Head Studios, the developer of the original Prey. ย Turns out that project was dropped for what appears to be a reboot of the franchise.
The new project simply titled Prey, follows the story of a lone man named Morgan, who has been undergoing experiments to enhance mankind. Unfortunately, for Morgan he becomes involved in aย hostile takeover by aliens on the station he is being treated in. Little else is shown off in the trailer, however after the preview, Arkane Studios did announce the game would release next year.
