Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands returned to the E3 stage at Ubisoft’s press conference today.

It showcased an agent hunting down cartel members in the rolling hills and dilapidated villages of Bolivia. In the game’s fiction, a cartel has stormed the country, completely taking it over and making it one of the largest cocaine producers in the world.
Players are thrust into a massive open world that allows them to solve problems any number of ways. Gameplay is a mix of third and first person shooting with stealth elements thrown in for good measure. Soldiers were shown storming a compound and taking out enemy soldiers in order to secure intel.
They then hopped in a helicopter and took to the skies to move to the next compound. Other players were moving in at the same time, waiting to set up a simultaneous assault. The mission culminated in a high octane car chase where all players worked together to secure the objective.
The open world, graphics, and the multitude of options all look incredibly impressive, especially the focus on team play. Check out the official gameplay walkthrough below.
