Capcom’s upcoming dinosaur-slaying online team-based looter shooter, Exoprimal, is right around the corner, and those interested in getting their hands on the game have a few things to consider before pressing that pre-order button. With only a few weeks to go until release, and the announcement of the Street Fighter collaboration, now is the best time to get Exoprimal if you want those pre-order bonuses. The release date for the game is set for July 14 on Xbox Series S|X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. Without further ado, here is everything you need to know before pre-ordering the Standard Edition or paying the slightly higher price for the Deluxe Edition of Exoprimal:
Exoprimal Pre-Order Bonuses
If you pre-order Exoprimal before its release date, you will receive 3 in-game skins. All of these are purely cosmetic and will not give you any sort of gameplay advantage. If you’re on the fence, these will still be available for purchase after Exoprimal’s release date. If you buy the physical edition of the game, you will receive a voucher code that will add the bonus content. The skins are:
- Shark’s Mouth (Gray) exosuit skin for Deadeye
- Stone Golem exosuit skin for Roadblock
- Bush Camo exosuit skin for Witchdoctor
Exoprimal Standard & Deluxe Editions
Exoprimal has two editions that you can pre-order. The Standard Edition only has the main game and nothing else (other than the pre-order bonuses mentioned above). Thankfully Capcom has not boarded the $70 base game pricing bandwagon with Exoprimal, so the Standard Edition will cost you $60. If you want to hit the ground running once the game launches, then the Deluxe edition is for you.
Priced at $70, the Deluxe Edition of Exoprimal adds early unlock tickets for 3 exosuits as well as an additional 3 skins apart from the pre-order bonus ones. You will also get the season 1 pass automatically, which will release its extra content as the year progresses. Capcom has also confirmed that we can expect more collaborations with other Capcom IPs, so be on the lookout if you’re interested. The complete list of content for the Deluxe Edition of Exoprimal is as follows:
Exoprimal Deluxe Edition
Head Start Kit
- Exosuit Early Unlock Tickets
- Vigilant Early Unlock Ticket
- Murasame Early Unlock Ticket
- Nimbus Early Unlock Ticket
- Exosuit Skins
- Paladin (Vigilant)
- White Guardian (Murasame)
- Wonderland (Nimbus)
Limited Time Bonus Survival Pass Season 1: Premium Tier
- Exosuit Skins – 19
- Weapon Skins – 10
- Decals – 3
- Emotes – 4
- Stamps – 2
- Player Tag: Emblems – 10
- Player Tag: Backgrounds – 1
Both the Headstart Kit and Survival Pass Season 1 can be purchased separately after the launch of Exoprimal, but will undoubtedly cost a bit more. However, the limited-time bonus will not be available if you purchase the Standard Edition and the Head Start kit separately.
Note that Exoprimal will be available on day one on Xbox Game Pass, so if you’re already subscribed to either that or PC Game Pass, you’ll get to play the game at no additional cost on Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, or PC. But that is bittersweet news with the recent price bump announced by Microsoft. If you want to buy the game on PlayStation or aren’t on Game Pass, visit the Exoprimal website here to pre-order the game on your platform of choice.
