For some time now, netizens have been creating a narrative that Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez are having issues because of Justin Bieber. Justin Bieber, who is now married to Hailey Bieber, dated Gomez in the past. After repeatedly claiming that they were just friends, the former lovebirds confirmed their romance in February 2011. However, they split, and Justin married Hailey, which resulted in netizens creating narratives that Hailey snatched Gomez’s boyfriend.
Hailey Bieber Shunned Narrative of Feud with Selena Gomez
The 26-year-old has addressed the perception that she is not on good terms with Gomez. The model appeared on Bloomberg’s The Circuit with Emily Chang earlier this week. Bieber said, “I don’t think this is about me, Hailey Bieber, and Selena Gomez. This is not about pitting between two women and division between two women.”
She added that all this supposed hatred has come from made-up stories and twisted narratives. The Rhode Skin founder also pointed out that the narrative is dangerous. According to her, the negativity is enough to bring division between two people.
The wife of Justin Bieber has completely debunked the rumor to be untrue. She said it is disappointing to think that they would be having issues because of a man. Hence, she is unhappy with the division the rumor caused. The media personality said she does not support pitting two women against each other.
Hailey Blast Fans Making Hate Comments on Gomez’s Post
The socialite made a post on her Instagram story to blast fans who dropped hateful comments on Gomez’s post.
“If you are leaving rude comments on my behalf on anyone’s post, just know that I don’t want that,” Bieber said. She added that she would never condone such actions from her fans.
“Doing that is not supporting me; if you are participating in that, you are part of a culture that I do not want to be a part of,” Bieber continued. She advised her fans to be friendly in their comments or not make any. The Only Murders in the Building star also pleaded with fans to quit bullying Gomez.
Some time ago in March, Gomez also lectured her fans who were making hate and death speeches against Hailey. The Calm Down songstress said she does not condone bullying but only acts of kindness.
