Although BitLife is just a game, there are still things that you’re barred from doing as you would be in the real world. One of those things is to adopt with a criminal record in BitLife. While incredibly difficult, you can bypass this detail by completing the Change of Heart challenge.

There are five things you must complete before your character dies to complete the CHange of Heart Challenge. These include:

  1. Pirate +5 porches before age 16.
  2. Escape from prison.
  3. Become an Exorcist after escaping prison.
  4. Donate blood after escaping prison.
  5. Adopt a child after escaping prison.

Pirate +5 Porches Before 16

A pirate porch is someone who steals packages from the porches of others. To do this in BitLife, you need to be at least eight years old. Then:

  1. Go to the Activities tab in the character’s play screen.
  2. Scroll to the Crime option.
  3. Scroll down to Porch Pirate and select what house you’d like to steal from.

Ideally, choose houses that you believe wouldn’t have security cameras. These are typically small apartments and homes. Large-scale apartments and homes will most likely have cameras that will record you.

Escape From Prison

To escape from prison, you need to be in prison. To do this, keep following the above instructions about committing a crime until one finally lands you in jail. Once in jail, you will not have any of the same options to do things with your character until after you leave. To do that:

  1. When you’re incarcerated, you can pay for a Get Out Of Jail Free Card in the Prison selection on the bottom left corner of the player’s screen.
  2. You can select the Escape Jail option where you get the Get Out Of Jail Free Card.

When escaping jail, you have to do so without the guard catching you. You can do this by going through a small maze where the officer chases you. However, you can watch a short video to disguise yourself as an officer to sneak past the guard. I recommend the latter because after trying nearly ten times, I could never escape without the disguise.

Become an Exorcist

Although an odd thing to want to try and do right after escaping jail, you’ll need to become an Exorcist. There aren’t any qualifications you need to have, so follow these instructions:

  1. Head to the Occupation option on the bottom left of the character’s play screen.
  2. Select the Jobs option.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and find Exorcist and apply.

Considering your background, it shouldn’t be difficult to land the job. It’s pretty low-paying, so you’ll want to save up as much as you can to adopt a baby.

Donate Blood

Donating blood also doesn’t require you to do anything in advance.

  1. Head to the Activities tab on the bottom right of the character’s play screen.
  2. Scroll down to the Doctor option.
  3. Select the Donate Blood option.

You’ll be told about the hospital’s reputation, which will then allow you to decide whether to do it or not.

Adopt a Child

Now, the last thing you’ll need to do is actually adopt a child. Considering you’ve done the above, you’ll have no issue being able to secure both the child and the Change of Heart Challenge.

  1. Go to the Activities tab in the character’s play menu.
  2. Scroll down to the Adoption tab.
  3. Choose the child you’d like to adopt and adopt them.

With all of that done, you’ll have adopted a child while having a criminal record and completed the Change of Heart Challenge!
