Dave the Diver players want to know what the Operation Cost means. The game focuses on the exploits of a diver named Dave, who supplies his own sushi restaurant with fish he captures while diving. The cost of running a sushi restaurant can be pricey, especially as Dave’s restaurant becomes more and more successful. Players must add extra help and expenses to run the sushi restaurant properly. That is where the Operation Cost comes in and how it ties in with the amount you can spend on the restaurant.

The goal of Dave the Diver is to make Dave’s Sushi restaurant as successful as you can. You must collect the best fish from the Blue Hole and sell them at the restaurant. The better the fish, the more customers will come to the restaurant and eat.

However, the consequence of bigger and better success is that Dave can’t do it himself. You must upgrade the restaurant to add more space and potentially include extra employees. You need to hire people to help Dave to keep up with the demand. That is where the Operation Cost for Dave the Diver comes in.

The Operation Cost is the amount you spend to keep your employees and the work they do. The more employees you have and the more work you have them do, the more money you will spend. It doesn’t matter how minimal the task is. Everything your employees do has a cost. You spend money to have them do anything from serving to washing dishes.

If you end up hiring too many people, you may end up losing all your money. You can always Transfer an employee if you have too many workers. To Transfer, head into the Employee Menu and select Transfer to the employee you want to let go.

The fewer employees you have in Dave the Diver, the lower your Operation Cost will be. You can theoretically run the sushi restaurant with just Dave, but you won’t be able to upgrade it and expand because you will need other employees. The game also becomes a lot more difficult if you refuse to upgrade and higher workers.

The best way to play the title is to collect the best fish, run the restaurant the best you can, upgrade with the resources you gathered, and use your money to hire workers. Be mindful of the Operation Cost in Dave the Diver to avoid losing all your money.
