Roblox Type Soul: Weapon Tier List (2024)

With so many weapons to pick from in Type Soul, having a tier list of the best Shikai, Hollow, and Spirit weapons makes your journey exponentially easier. Why spend all that time training with a C-tier weapon when you could be using S-tier or even A-tier since they’re easier to get? This is especially true when you start PvPing, where your weapon means everything. If other Roblox players are going to use the best weapons in Type Soul, so should you.

Type Soul Shikai Weapons Tier List

Out of the best Shikai weapons in Type Soul, the Odachi, Yamato (SR variant) and—barely, but just barely—the Longsword are at the top.

• Longsword: Although the Longsword would be at the bottom of S-tier, it’s anything but bad. Its near range of a greatsword and speed of a dagger give it a deadly edge. Bankai Critical is especially awesome, given that it’s a critical and hyperarmor ability. The Longsword is also particularly hard for players to parry.
• Odachi: Considering Odachi’s critical attack has a stun baked in it already gives it a place in S-tier. More importantly, you can really trip players up since it’s a three-part attack that you can control the timing of the swings. Baiting a player’s parry feels so good!
• Yamato (SR): Despite a nerf to its swing speed, the Yamato (SR) is still at the top of S-tier, not to mention an AOE critical attack that does excellent damage and is arguably the coolest one in Type Soul. The area is around twice as large as the Quincy variant’s AOE range, including more hits.

Type Soul Hollow Weapons Tier List

There are quite a few really good Hollow weapons in Type Soul, so even if you don’t end up with one of the following, there are plenty of backups:

• Ulquoirra’s Katana: Being a katana, Ulquoirra’s Katana already has good weapon speed and range naturally, making its 5-hit combo all the more deadly. Even better, its critical attack can guard-break once again and has this quick windup and dash that’s difficult to parry.
• Yamato (Arrancar): Although its crit isn’t an AOE like the other variants are, it’s still a really good offensive-defensive option since it knocks players back pretty far. The distance is more than enough to give you breathing room and can be especially useful against players using Warden or Grimmjow’s Claws.
• Piety: Massive ranged AOE critical attack—enough said. But seriously, Piety has excellent combo potential with its melee crit. It grants Hyperarmor, can guard-break, and has a 1-second ragdoll, which is just enough time to weave in a combo.
• Grimmjow’s Claws: Easy pick. You have a 5-hit combo that’s relatively fast and stacks a bleeding effect. The Grimmjow’s Claws’s critical attack also has the same benefits as the Ulquoirra’s Katana, but with a knock-up and sets you up for combos.

Type Soul Spirit Weapons Tier List

Type Soul has several standout options in A-tier, like the Cang Du Claws for Hakuda builds or Antithesis for your greatsword needs. Even the Quincyglock has its place for having a ground and aerial critical attack, but these weapons are your best options:

• Spalten: Thanks to a well-deserved buff, the Spalten is definitely S-tier. Its M1 combo is just fast enough to be useful, but also has just an ever so slight delay that makes it tricky to parry. The dash critical attack is also really fast and quite easy to land.
• Yamato (Quincy): The Quincy Yamato borrows heavily from Flash Fang, so much so that it’s the biggest reason why it’s in S-tier. Its critical attack hits multiple times too, which is a little broken on its own. And since it’s an AOE that surrounds you, you’re guaranteed to get at least half of its damage in just being close to your target.
• Zweiss: With three critical attacks, it’s no wonder Zweiss took a spot as S-tier. Two of those criticals have teleports tied to them, one of which is a grapple, and the third critical attack is an AOE and you can never go wrong with an AOE critical. Oh and its swing speed is on par if not better than Yamato.
• Warden Gauntlets: Has a unique critical attack that yanks your target towards you and even bypasses i-frames (invincibility frames). Essentially, you use it to bait a disengage, then punish with combos.

Before you go, it’s important to note that even the C-tier weapons are among the best in Roblox Type Soul, just not overall. In other words, they’re at the bottom of the list, but still good, so it isn’t the end of the world if you happen to get Neliel’s Lance or the Hammer.
