In Dave the Diver, you spend as much time underwater as you do on the surface to manage your restaurant. While you have staff to cook for you, serve customers, and a branch manager, it is up to you to gather the ingredients from underwater. Not finding the area or ingredients can be frustrating since customers won’t be happy with your services. This is the case for Limestone Cave, and here is how to fix this cave not spawning in Dave the Diver.

In Dave the Diver, you will come across different areas in different depths of the sea as you progress through the game. With better equipment, you can go deeper and gather rare ingredients. Limestone Cave is one of those deep locations. It’s also the only place to gather Sea Grapes you can find at 100 meters depth. You will need better weapons and equipment to reach these depths as well.

The first and most important thing you should understand is that the chances of the Limestone Cave spawning are pretty low. This means that you can dive in that depth multiple times on different days but still not get access to it. Unless you have a VIP request whose ingredients can only be obtained from Limestone Cave. In that case, you will get access to the cave, but once the request is fulfilled, it will be hard to find once again.

The other factor that can cause this place to be locked out is how much you’ve progressed through the story. A couple of story quests will lock this area and won’t be unlocked until you’ve completed them. So it is worth it to complete your main quest and then come back to see if the area is available or not.

As mentioned above, Sea Grapes may be why many players want to get to this cave. It may seem that this is the only place you can gather Grapes, but it’s not. After progressing through the game, you will unlock Seaweed Farming and grow them yourself.  The best thing we can suggest to you is to go through the game and quickly check each day if the cave is available but not dwell on finding it too much.

Dave the Diver is only available for PC.
