In The Kardashians season 3, episode 8, she told her family that she would be the bachelorette this upcoming season. Kidding or not, that got a lot of people talking and speculating. Of course, the internet took to this rumor and just ran with it – something the internet tends to do with every bit of news it gets.
Kim’s family has clout. Kris literally went through her phone and found a number of a TV executive who works on the show. The funny thing is the executive was in on the joke. He told Kris that Kim Kardashian deserves love as much as anyone else and maybe The Bachelorette could help her find it. As you can imagine, this blew Kris’ mind and really made it all feel real. Khloe was quick to chime in, too, and she brought some facts with her. She pointed out to Kim that she doesn’t drink and being drunk is a pretty consistent part of the show. She also reminded Kim that making out with tons of random guys might not look good. Suffice it to say, the prank definitely worked. It is almost a certainty that she would never leave her own show to be on a show that is in direct competition with hers.
But it was fun to see her poking fun at her own image and freaking her family out. Kim nailed that prank and it ended up showing a softer side to her family, which is nice to see. They clearly are just looking out for her.
