The Gunslinger is a great class, capable of some rapid-fire damage output in Remnant 2. Finding a character matching your playing style in Remnant 2Â will take some time and experimentation. It is tough to do this if the game has a limited number of classes. The Gunslinger will be great for those who like fast and aggressive play.
There is only one way to unlock the Gunslinger without pre-ordering the game. Let’s take a closer look at how to open this powerful class. Follow these steps to unlock the Gunslinger Archetype/class but be warned you will need to play quite a bit of the game before it will work.
- Once you complete the prologue, you will end up in Ward 13.
- You will need to interact with one of the NPCs in Ward 13, named Mudtooth. You can find this older man near World Stone.
- Speak to Mudtooth; refer to the image below to see how he looks in the game. And ask him to tell you stories, which will expand as you play through the game.
- If you speak to him and he doesn’t give you the Worn Cylinder, you must further progress through the main story.
- After earning this item, you can unlock the class using the Worn Cylinder.

How To Equip Skills in Remnant 2The Worn Cylinder you need to unlock the new class in Remnant 2, including Gunslinger. After you get it, go to Wallace in Ward 13. Once there, you can craft an Iron Cylinder using the following resources:
- Worn Cylinder
- Luminite Crystal x10
- Scrap x1000
After you craft the Iron Cylinder, you can equip it on the Archetype page. By doing so, you will receive all the skills, perks, and traits of the Gunslinger class.
