Remnant 2 not only features spectacular battles against a variety of enemies but also many mysteries with secrets that should be solved. Wandering through the biomes you will find many puzzles and some of them can be really hard. Next, we’re going to talk about one of the hardest puzzles in the game, which can bring you generous rewards. So, here’s how to solve all Cathedral of Omens puzzles in Remnant 2.
As you know, in the game you will have to visit and complete many different biomes. Each of them contains many challenges and tasks that you will need to complete. In the Yaesha biome, you can find a rather difficult puzzle located in the Cathedral of Omens. To get there, you’ll need to go to Faithless Thicket near The Forbidden Grove, where the cathedral will be located.
Upon entering the location, you will notice a strange structure that immediately catches your eye. A huge structure that hangs over the ground will consist of several circles and symbols that you have to move to solve the puzzle. In addition, you will also be looking for levers, each of which will be responsible for moving the elements of the structure. Let’s see what each of them is responsible for:
- Lever at the entrance – Responsible for moving two circles.
- Lever on the right side of the entrance – Responsible for moving the two circles.
- Lever on the left side of the entrance – Responsible for moving the symbols.
Solving this puzzle can be confusing and time-consuming at first. However, the developers left a helpful tip in the room to the right of the entrance. In this room you will find a book that contains information about each of the 6 symbols:
- The Sun
- The Moon
- Life
- Death
- The Doe
- The Ravager
In addition to the basic information about the symbols, you can also find three stories in the book that will help you solve the puzzle, namely:
- The Calamity
- The Blood Moon
- The Hope
Each of these stories will give you hints on the correct location of each element. It may be confusing at first, but if you pay attention to the capitalized words, you’ll understand what the story is about. So let’s not waste any time and start solving each puzzle.
The Calamity
The first stage of the puzzle is the story of The Calamity. In this and the next cases, you’ll need to correctly arrange the elements so that they form the right pattern to open the room. Here’s what you need to do in this case:
- Interact with the symbol lever to place Ravager on top, Doe on the bottom, and Death on the bottom left.
- Interact with the lever at the main entrance to place circles around Ravager and Doe.
- Interact with the lever to the left of the main entrance to place circles around Doe and Death.
When you do it right, the door will open and your reward will be Faith Seed.
The Blood Moon
This puzzle may be more difficult, but again, if you understand the story from the book correctly, you will not have any problems. Follow the steps below to solve the puzzle:
- Interact with the symbol lever to place Moon north of the locked door, the Sun opposite to Moon, and the Ravager to the left of the Moon.
- Interact with the lever near the main entrance to place circles around the Sun and Moon.
- Interact with the lever to the left of the main entrance to place circles around Moon and Ravager.
When you complete this part of the puzzle and open the door, you’ll find two chests with materials as a reward.
How to get the Ring of Omens in Remnant 2
The same puzzle we listed above can also get you the highly sought after Ring of Omens. The puzzle solution is the exact same, however, the item can only be found during a Blood Moon. Before entering the temple, look at the sky, if the clouds and moon are crimson red, then proceed. if its not a blood moon, you must Fast Travel back to Ward 13, then back to the Cathedral of Omens.
do this until it’s a Blood Moon. When you enter the right-side door during a Blood Moon, the floor will be open, and you can secure the Ring of Omens.
The Hope
- Interact with the symbol lever to place Doe in front of the entrance. Next, place the symbols to the left of Doe, in the following order: Sun, Life, and Ravager. Sun should be the first after Doe and Ravager should be the last, opposite Doe.
- Interact with the lever at the main entrance to place circles around Doe and Ravager.
- Interact with the lever to the left of the main entrance to place circles around Sun and Life.
Your reward for completing this puzzle will be the Sagittarius Bow.
