Despite taking place in a ruined world, Remnant 2 has plenty of interesting characters. Behind each of them stands a talented voice actor. All of them bring their characters to life by giving shape and meaning to the words of the script. Standing out poses a challenge in a game with a monster-slaying dog, but these actors have the passion and experience to pull it off. Whether they spend their days in Ward 13 or wander the dangerous Souls-like world, these characters all leave their mark.
Cass (Bryce Charles)
Your friend from Remnant 2’s Prologue, Cass (voiced by Bryce Charles), is the first NPC you meet and a vital part of the story going forward. Cass later acts as a merchant, providing the player with miscellaneous goods. Charles, known for her roles in Black-ish, Atypical, and Tales of the City, brings emotion and empathy to the role. Players may also remember her from the goofy, GTA-inspired antics of Saints Row, in which she played Player Voice 4.
Bo (Christian Lanz)
Bo (voiced by Christian Lanz) is the leader of Ward 13, the hub area you return to between missions. Lanz has played everyone from Puss in Boots to Chancellor Esteban in Elena of Avalor, as well as various characters in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012-2017). His credentials as a gaming voice actor include multiple Call of Duty games as well as Cyberpunk 2077 (as Gustavo Orta and others). Once you know Bo is Puss in Boots, there’s no going back.
Clementine (Judy Alice Lee)
Clementine (voiced by Judy Alice Lee) disappears early on, setting a number of things in motion in Remnant 2. This includes the player’s eventual passage into the Labyrinth, where she can be found later in the story. Like many voice actors, Lee has a huge list of titles to her credit. Her vast body of work includes Diablo IV (Neyrelle), Star Wars: Visions (Master Moru), The Loud House (Ali), Octopath Traveler II (Mindt), and various characters in Lost Ark.
Ford (Darin De Paul)
Ford (voiced by Darin De Paul) founded Ward 13. Since the Ward acts as the central hub throughout the game, the player ends up quite familiar with Ford and his community. This talented actor lent his voice to multiple characters in Remnant 2, including Mudtooth. Ford performed the voice of Sin in Shazam! as well as Reinhardt in Overwatch 2. De Paul’s resume also includes such games as God of War: Ragnarök, Destiny 2: Lightfall, Redfall, and Diablo IV, so there’s no telling where players might have heard him first.
Brabus (Jason Anthony)
Remnant 2 players spend plenty of time talking to Brabus (voiced by Jason Anthony) in Ward 13. It’s no wonder, considering he acts as the game’s primary weapons merchant. Anthony previously lent his talents to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (Otter), Total War: Warhammer III (Teclis), and various characters in Hogwarts Legacy, including the Sorting Hat. Most importantly for Remnant 2 fans, Anthony is also the voice actor for Brabus in Remnant: From the Ashes. Seeing the actor get the opportunity to continue his work in the second game is a pleasure.
