Since the Swordsman character primarily uses melee attacks, some traits are better than others.

  • First, prioritizeย Attack Speed. The Swordsman is pretty slow when you first start, so upping his Attack Speed is a must.ย
  • If you add inย Damage, then you’ve already got an annihilation machine!ย
  • Aside from those two traits, it’s great to increaseย Rangeย andย Cone Sizeย as well.ย
  • When all else fails, and you get horrible trait rolls, dump some levels intoย Health Regenerationย as well.

When it comes to abilities, there aren’t many to choose from. However, out of the few available, three work best for the Swordsman character in Halls of Torment. We suggest getting Ring Blades as often as you can. If it isn’t available, then you can settle for Transfixion or Phantom Needles. Not only does Ring Blades offer a ranged attack aside from your main weapon, but it’s also constant and can be leveled up drastically.

She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things โ€œgeekโ€. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you canโ€™t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
