Lana Del Rey is happy to be in Chicago. On August 5, the singer announced on Instagram that she arrived in the city by sharing a cute mirror selfie. Her post arrived just a day ahead of her highly-anticipated Lollapalooza concert. Del Rey is headlining the festival on Sunday along with the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Based on her latest Instagram, she’s more than ready to hit the stage. Lana Del Rey’s selfie shows her flaunting her beautiful smile.
Lana Del Rey’s Selfie Ahead of Lollapalooza
In Lana Del Rey’s selfie, the star shows off her pearly whites while holding up her phone in front of a bathroom mirror. She appears to be sitting on top of a sink as she poses for the photo. “Chicago let’s get it tomorrow! We’re here 🏙️,” she wrote. Del Rey is seemingly wearing a blue tank top and shorts and has on silver jewelry.
“She still looks so young and beautiful<3,” one fan commented underneath the photo, referencing her 2013 track “Young and Beautiful.” Another fan expressed their excitement over her upcoming concert by writing, “They’re not ready for the LANAPALOOZA.”
Around the same time Lana Del Rey’s selfie hit Instagram, the star shared a photo of her outside the airport. “20 minutes strutting down your long ass airport terminals but finally here,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.
Del Rey’s Lollapalooza concert will take place on the final day of the festival on Aug. 6. She’s one of two headliners that also include the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Other performers that night will be A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, Louis The Child, Rina Sawayama, Lil Yachty, and more.
The singer’s Lollapalooza set will likely feature new songs off her latest album, Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd. The record arrived on March 24 and marked Del Rey’s ninth full-length project.
Following Lollapalooza, Del Rey will continue to promote her album by performing at the Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival in San Francisco, California, on Aug. 12.
