On Thursday’s episode of The Viall Files podcast, the Bachelor Nation member opened up about his fiancée’s pregnancy journey so far and how it affected their relationship. What’s more, Viall addressed the issue of his unborn baby’s gender. The actor revealed that he and Joy already know the child’s sex but decided to stay mum about it. In fact, Viall made it known he told some friends the wrong gender. Regarding the reason, the model explained:
“Sometimes, you have to weed out the moles. So every once in a while, I’ll just like to get to know who you can trust and who you don’t trust.”
Viall further relayed that their decision would help them decipher “who told who what” if anyone ever approached them. Overall, lying about Viall and Joy’s baby’s gender was a precaution, one that the television personality noted would aid in knowing who had a big mouth. Besides the child’s sex, Viall spoke about his bond with Joy since she took him in. He shared that the pregnancy had brought them closer, adding that there had been beautiful moments like going to the hospital, getting ultrasounds, and seeing their little bundle of joy. Afterward, Viall stated that he always wanted to be a dad. Now that he is so close to starting his fatherhood journey, it was exciting, surreal, and amazing.
