In Palia, you’re put through the everyday lifestyle of a Kilima Village resident. In order to be a helpful and contributing member of society – as well as to get through the initiation quests – you’ll need to do a variety of things including use iron and know how to plant wild trees. These are different from the trees used to get Heartwood. Fortunately, we’re geared with the tools you need to learn how to plant wild tree seeds in Palia!
How to Get Wild Tree Seeds in Palia
The best way to get wild tree seeds in Palia is to get them from other trees! Not every tree drops these seeds, and you need to have an upgraded axe, but it isn’t impossible! In order to be able to chop down trees, you need to upgrade your axe to at least a copper axe. If not, you’ll only have the ability to cut down bushes until then.
If you’re looking to increase your chances of finding these rare drops, you’ll want to try and focus your efforts on bigger trees. You’ll also want to upgrade your axe to a fine axe to increase your odds significantly. This will cost you 1,500 but is well worth it in order to complete the Prove Your Devotion quest.

You can also find them by using community requests and specifically asking for acorns, samara seeds, or pinecones. It’s important to note that it’s not guaranteed that you’ll get any wild tree seeds this way, but it is completely possible.
How to Use Wild Tree Seeds in Palia
In order to play wild tree seeds in Palia, you will want to select the seeds in your hotbar and find a place in the ground where you want to plant them. You’ll see a preview of the tree appear, showing you how much space it will take. This gives you an opportunity to change where you initially wanted to plan it if it doesn’t work out how you planned. Once you’ve confirmed where you want to plant the seeds, you can confirm your selection and immediately complete the Prove Your Devotion quest.
