Marvel is teasing the next big event to rock the Avengers and it looks like Vision will be the last one standing. Previews for Jed MacKay and C.F. Villa’s upcoming arc show Vision emerging as the Avenger’s last hope for survival. However, how the Avengers ended up in this situation and what exactly is going on with Viz is yet to be known. Although, looking at the current arc facing the Avengers, you can guarantee it will be cosmically grand!

The Current Vision Avengers Arc

Currently, Vision and the rest of the Avengers are wrapped up in a mission involving Kang the Conqueror. Kang is searching for the “Missing Moment,” and this has put the Avengers in the path of a new group of villains known as the Ashen Combine. Taking on these deadly foes and infiltrating their Impossible City headquarters is just the start. The Avengers must overcome several large-scale disasters known as Tribulation Events especially if they want to prove themselves worthy.

Once successful, the Avengers will assume command of a new base of operations. However, things are just getting started. As the Avengers head towards a deadly confrontation with the Ashen Combine, more of Kang’s true intentions come to light. This pushes them into the next arc of their journey where Vision may hold the key to survival.

Vision: The Last Hope?

Beginning in November, Jed MacKay and C.F. Villa will begin work on the Avenger’s second arc. In Avengers #7, the heroes are once again defending the world. However, they begin to struggle with recognizing the world around them. What could be going on with them. And what exactly is up with Vision? Stuart Immonen’s cover for the issue depicts Earth’s Mightiest defeated as Vision rises to face whatever threat caused this.

This leads into Avengers #8 where the Twilight Court re-emerges. According to Marvel, the Avengers are trapped in a world they did not make and must break free. However, one amongst them is fighting their own battle against Myrddin and his Twilight Court. Immonen’s cover for this issue shows off the returning Twilight Court, ready for battle.

Find out how this next arc plays out when Avengers #7 drops on November 1.
