You don’t need me to tell you how important passes are not only in Madden 24 but in sports in general. That being said, there are a few different ways that you can pass the ball to your teammates in the game. Just selecting who you want to throw the ball to is one thing, but actually making the pass is another. If you don’t already know what they are or how to do them, then we outlined exactly how to throw all passes in Madden 24 down below to make things easier for you.

In the few milliseconds after choosing which player you want to pass the ball to, you will need to also know which kind of pass you want to perform. As stated above, we listed out all of the pass below as well as how to throw them:

  • High Pass
    • This pass lets the receiver of the ball avoid players who are underneath as well as smaller defenders. To do it, hold L1 on the PlayStation, LB on the Xbox, or ALT on PC while also pressing the button of whoever you’re passing to.
  • Low Pass
    • The low pass is good for keeping the ball away from defenders that might be behind the receiver. In order to do this pass, you will need to press down on the left stick on either the Xbox or PlayStat ion or hold the left CTRL button while also simultaneously pressing the button of whoever it is that you wanted to pass to.
  • Bullet Pass
    • This pass is fast and gets the job done. To execute it, you need to press and hold the button of whoever it is that you wanted to pass to
  • Touch Pass
    • This pass isn’t very commonly used, but it’s pretty good in specific situations when you need to avoid underneath defenders. To do this, you’ll need to press and hold the button of the receiver that you wanted to pass the ball to. However, not for as long as if you were doing a Bullet Pass.
  • Lob Pass
    • This pass is done to help the receiver avoid tackles. You can execute it by tapping on the button of the player you are passing to.
  • Lateral Pass
    • This pass is really only meant to be done in difficult situations since it’s hard to decide on a target. To accomplish it, you need to press LB on Xbox, L1 on PlayStation, or the middle mouse button on PC.

There are a few other passes, like dive passes, that can only really be executed when you are being tackled. After that, you should know how to throw all passes in Madden 24.
