If you’ve gotten your hands on Madden 24 yet, or any Madden game as a matter of fact, then you know exactly how important it is to lay out the best gameplay. Part of what makes each play so unique is the choice to choose what passing style you use to throw the ball to your teammates. Every situation has the best type of pass to use, so we’re here to detail exactly which passing style you should use in Madden 24.

Considering the fact that each passing style is really only used in specific scenarios, it’s a little hard to tell which is the overall best. In my personal opinion, the Bullet Pass is the optimal passing style because it is quick and efficient. You just need to quickly tap on the button of the player that you want to pass the ball to and your player will instantly throw it over. It isn’t the best in all situations, but it definitely gets the job done.

You’ll want to focus on more basic passing styles like the High or Low pass if you’re looking to be a bit more strategic, but nothing really beats the Bullet Pass in a pinch.

Different Passing Styles in Madden 24

There are six different passing styles that you can try to perfect with one of them only being applicable when you are being tackled. We listed all of the Madden 24 passing styles below:

  • High Pass: This pass lets the receiver of the ball avoid players who are underneath as well as smaller defenders.
  • Low Pass: The low pass is good for keeping the ball away from defenders that might be behind the receiver.
  • Bullet Pass: This pass is fast and gets the job done.
  • Touch Pass: This pass isn’t very commonly used, but it’s pretty good in specific situations when you need to avoid underneath defenders.
  • Lob Pass: This pass is done to help the receiver avoid tackles.
  • Lateral Pass: This pass is really only meant to be done in difficult situations since it’s hard to decide on a target.

As you play through the game and find out what the best types of passing styles are for what you want to do, then you shouldn’t have any trouble figuring out which one you want to execute when the time comes. For now, that’s all you’re going to need to know about which passing style you should use in Madden 24.
