FFXIV will get many things for its 10th anniversary, but before the game reaches that milestone and we enjoy the events, it’s time to look at the Fashion Report of week 290. Last week, players had it easy as they needed to get their starting gear and show it off to get 100 points. This time, though, players must dust off some old crafting and gathering gear and dye it a certain way to reach the rewards inside the Gold Saucer. If you’re unsure where to start, we have a guide to tell you how to rock this new Fashion Report Week in FFXIV.
FFXIV Fashion Report Week 290: Southern Culinarian Theme
The theme for the FFXIV Fashion Report Week 290 is Southern Culinarian, which means players must grab some gear that goes with that crafting job. As always, we’ll list the best options to get 100 points easily and earn your MGP currency. Here are the items we recommend you get:
- Head: Scion Adventurer’s Monocle (Snow White Dye)
- Main Scenario Quest Reward
- Body: Any Dyable Piece (Regal Purple Dye)
- Hands: Leather Lightmitts (No Dye)
- Bought from Gwalter in Ul’Dah (Steps of Thal)
- Legs: Any Dyable Leg Piece (Snow White Dye)
- Ring: Prototype Gordian Ring
- Exchange one Tarnished Gordian Bolt for it (Sabina is the vendor in Idyllshire).

How To Get the Axolotl Mount in FFXIV
As you can see, preparing the outfit for the FFXIV Fashion Week Report 290 isn’t hard. The hardest part might be getting the ring, but you can run Alexander: The Fist of the Father unsynced for the item. Still, you might have to spend a few gil on the market board for the dyes or craft them if you have leveled your crafting jobs enough. So, prepare to dazzle everyone at the Gold Saucer this week by showing your Southern Culinarian outfit.
FFXIV is available on PS4, PS5, and PC, with an Xbox version coming soon.
