After its surprising announcement in The Game Awards last year, Armored Core 6, the latest game made by the developer of Elden Ring, From Software, is finally here.  Before the studio became famous for their Soulsborn games, they made a couple of mech action games called Armored Core that were pretty much abandoned when the Souls series became a major hit. If you aren’t familiar with it, here is the story of the game so far. In all of the Souls games, players had the New Game Plus option. So if you are wondering whether Armored Core 6 will have a new game plus as well, then you’ve been to the right place.

Does Armored Core 6 Have a New Game Plus?

One of the best things about games that have a leveling-up system or role-playing elements like AC6 is the new game-plus option. You have beaten the game once and want to play it again to do things differently and the secret ending. With the help of New Game Plus, you don’t have to grind many hours and can play a new game with all your progress and items from the previous one.

In the case of Armored Core 6, there is a New Game Plus option, but it’s not called New Game Plus. After you finish the game and start another one, the game will simply ask you if you want to use your progress from the previous game or start a totally new one.

If you go with the first option, then all your items, AC, COAM, OST points, and everything you’ve unlocked will be available for you to use. Even though Armored Core 6 doesn’t have Soulsborne elements, there are still traces of quest design, secret areas, and multiple endings from that series in this game.
