Before starting their adventure, many RPG fans want to know how long it takes to finish Sea of Stars. Role-playing games tend to be dozens of hours long, so many gamers already assume the new RPG from Sabotage Studio will be a lengthy title. But time is obviously finite. If a title is too lengthy, it may not be suitable for everyone. While long games can put off certain players, RPGs’ biggest strength as a genre is their fully explored world and lore. However, should you expect the length of Sea of Stars to be 100+ hours? Let’s explain.

Sabotage Studio game is an ambitious role-playing title featuring science fiction and fantasy elements. The title has an extensive story mode, spotlighting elaborate puzzle-solving and intuitive gameplay based on the classic turn-based combat from older RPGs. There’s a lot to do in the RPG title, and it isn’t a short game.

Fortunately, for gamers who don’t have plenty of hours in the day to play video games, Sea of Star is also not a terribly lengthy title. The average length to complete Sea of Stars is around 25 to 30 hours. While 30 hours is longer than the average video game, it is much lower than the 100+ hours of RPGs that fans are used to.

The 30-hour make is also on the lower end for players who love taking their time in RPGs. If you slightly rush through your playthrough, you should finish the game closer to the 25th-hour mark than the 30th. If you’re good at RPGs and skip most of the story cutscenes and dialogue, you could potentially finish the title in 22 to 24 hours. You can play Sea of Stars in a second playthrough and beat it in less than 20 hours.
