Unlocking Void, Arc, and Solar Attunement in Destiny 2 can be done by completing Step 7 to Step 10 of “The Bladed Path” Seasonal Quest. During Season 22 Season of the Witch, which ends on Nov. 28, you can get Elemental Attunement. This will further increase the prowess of your elemental damage and abilities. Destiny 2 Season 22: How To Unlock Void, Arc, and Solar Attunement

1. Pick Void, Arc, or Solar Attunement at the Destiny 2 Ritual Table

First, in “The Bladed Path” Step 7, you need to pick an Element Attunement at Eris Morn’s Ritual Table. While there are three Elements — Void, Arc, and Solar — you can only choose one Attunement every two weeks when Season 22 is running. The first Attunement unlocks in Week 2, the second in Week 4, and the last in Week 6.

The Element Attunement is account-wide, which means you cannot pick different Attunements using your secondary character! Don’t worry though, because eventually you’ll be able to pick all three Elements.

2. Defeat Enemies and Collect Opaque Cards

Now that you have picked Void, Arc, or Solar Attunement in Destiny 2 Season 22, it’s time to fill up some progress bar. Defeat enemies using the selected Attunement Element’s damage type in Savathun’s Throne World or in Seasonal Activities. Like most quests, defeating powerful enemies will grant bonus progress here as well.

During Season 22, you can also collect Opaque Cards to unlock Minor and Major Arcana of Deck of Whispers. Opaque Cards can be obtained through four different methods:

Complete Savathun’s Spire and Altars of Summoning Seasonal Activities
Complete Vanguard and Crucible Playlists
Raise vendor ranks and grab the Cards at the Ritual Table
Locate hidden Opaque Cards

Opaque Cards are scattered all over the Destiny 2 maps. But the easiest way to find them is by running Savathun’s Spire or Altars of Summoning. Once found, interact with it using your corresponding Destiny 2 Attunement element damage, whether Solar or the other two.

After you’ve acquired an Opaque Card, you can activate the Arcana at Lectern of Divination and receive the reward. While Minor Arcana’s seasonal bonuses can be used immediately, you need to build a Deck of Whispers for Major Arcana:

Only a number of cards’ effects in a Deck of Whispers can be used at one time. When you start Savathun’s Spire or Altars of Summoning run, a random card will be picked from your deck. Deck of Whispers cards can be edited in the Athenaeum by interacting with the floating cards.

Major Arcana Card List

VI – Lacuna	Dealing Void damage adds Suppression
VII – Liminal	Dealing Arc damage adds Jolt
VIII – Ascension	Dealing Solar damage adds Scorch
IX – Lament	Rapidly defeat enemies to reduce Class ability cooldown
X – The Lie	Final blows reduce the melee cooldown
XI – The Truth	Dealing damage reduces grenade cooldown

3. Locate Hive Elemental Runes in Savathun’s Throne World Lost Sectors

Lastly, to finally unlock Void, Arc, or Solar Attunement in Destiny 2, you have to find hidden Hive Runes. These Hive Elemental Runes can be found in Savathun’s Throne World Lost Sectors. When found, you have to shoot the five Hive Elemental Runes using Primary Weapons with the corresponding element. Special or Heavy Weapon will instead destroy the Runes and force you to restart the Lost Sector.

Below are the locations of each Hive Elemental Runes and Elemental Attunement:

Sepulcher Lost Sector – Unlock Destiny 2 Void Attunement Runes

The first Rune is hidden between the two statues at the start of the Lost Sector
Follow the path to the pathway to your right. Before you go through the short corridor and enter the next area, turn around. The second Rune is on top of the door
Enter the next area then take a right. The next Rune is on a wall in front of the altar.
Turn around and approach the top left pillar in the middle of the room. The Rune is hidden on the left side of the pillar.
From the pillar, turn around. Jump over to the platform in the top left-most corner of the room. Inside the small room is the last Rune
Invoke the Hive Magic circle in the room to unlock Destiny 2 Void Attunement

Extraction Lost Sector – Unlock Destiny 2 Arc Attunement Runes

From the start of the Extraction Lost Sector, take the rightmost path and follow the path. The Hive Rune is on a stone pillar found along the way
After the downhill path, take the left. The Hive Rune is below the shades in a shallow pond
From the second Rune, turn around. Jump over to the higher area and look to your left
Keep following the left wall until you reach a very short corridor with the enemy spawn barrier at the end of it
From the fourth Rune, turn around. The last Hive Rune is below a tree in a small pond
Invoke the Hive Magic circle in front of the door

Metamorphosis Lost Sector – Unlock Destiny 2 Solar Attunement Runes

In the leftmost path not far from the first Hive Rune
From the first Hive Rune, take the rightmost path. Around the corner before the door to the next area, look to your left.
Walk to the front of the door to the next area. Then turn back and you should see a Hive Rune behind a broken wall.
Before you enter the door, go to the left. The Hive Rune is hidden in the dark corner covered in shadows.
Invoke the Hive Magic circle in front of the door.
