Merritt recently proved to be an ardent Beyonce fan by attending the Grammy Award winner’s concert in Los Angeles. Hours after the show, the Victoria’s Secret fashion model took to her Instagram page with a montage of pictures, giving fans glimpses of Beyonce’s Renaissance Tour. The first snap showed Kelsey Merritt wearing a silver top with shimmery embellishments, as requested by the Crazy in Love crooner. Merritt paired the top with black pants. The model’s face was cut off from the snap, but she seemingly donned a shiny silver neckpiece. The second picture showed a closer look at the concert.
The monochrome picture captured the stage, the ecstatic fans, and the backdrop that read, “RENAISSANCE.” The third and fourth slides were videos of Beyonce in her element, singing and dancing on stage alongside her talented backup dancers. Another snap showed Merritt in the same attire, but this time, her long wavy black hair, light makeup, and neck accessory were on full display. The Filipino-American model captioned the post, “When @beyonce says wear silver, you wear silver ❤🔥.” The post has since amassed over 25,000 likes and 50 comments, with many noting how perfect silver looks on Merritt.

Kelsey Merritt’s decision to wear silver to Beyonce’s Renaissance tour was influenced by the singer’s plea. The star made the request on August 22, ahead of her 42nd birthday celebration. Taking to her Instagram story, Beyonce told fans her birthday wish was to celebrate with them wearing their most fabulous silver attires to the shows from August 23 to September 22. According to Beyonce, the plan was for everyone to surround one another in a shimmering human disco ball each night. Fans made sure to heed the singer’s request. Celebrities like Issa Rae, Gabrielle Union, Kelly Rowland, and Megan Markle also stayed on the theme. Given the love music lovers have for Beyonce, more pictures of fans in silver are likely to emerge in the coming days.
