At the beginning of Starfield, you will join the Constellation to search and research Artifacts on different planets. However, how you do it is up to you. Space is cold and cruel, so you have to learn to survive and fight back against those who want to rob or kill you. Fortunately, the game has a large arsenal of weapons, both classic firearms and futuristic laser rifles. And if you want to kill your targets before they spot you, you’ll need a weapon with good scope. So, read on to find out how to get a Sniper Rifle in Starfield.

First of all, you should know that Starfield really has a lot of different weapons. It differs not only in appearance but also uses different ammo types. In addition, you can craft weapon mods to upgrade your Guns. And it is the first way to get a Sniper Rifle in Starfield.

All you need is to level up your Weapon Engineering skills and research Optics and Laser Mods. Then, you will be able to attach the scope to your favorite rifle. This way, you can easily craft a Sniper Rifle in Starfield. In addition, by adding Mods such as High Velocity, Long Barrel, and others, you can make your weapon even more deadly.

For example, quite early in the game, you will be able to get the Beowulf rifle. It’s pretty good, but after you attach the Medium Scope Mod, High Powered Mod, and Tactical Grip Mod, it will become a powerful Sniper Rifle in Starfield. You can also use the Suppressor Mod to make your Riffle quieter. However, this will reduce the range of your weapon.

Where To Find Sniper Rifle

If you don’t want to craft or want to get the Sniper Rifle as early as possible in Starfield, you can simply go to one of the stores. Fortunately, on many planets, some Vendors sell various weapons. For example, in Akila City, you can purchase an Old Earth Hunting Rifle for approximately 5,000 Credits.

Also, we recommend you complete side quests in Starfield, as some may reward you with a Sniper Rifle. It also applies to faction quests, which will help you increase your reputation and get good rewards. And finally, you can get quite powerful Rifles as a drop by defeating elite enemies and bosses. Of course, this can be dangerous, but this way you can get one of the best Sniper Rifles in the game, namely a Hard Target Rifle.

That’s all you need to know about how to get a Sniper Rifle in Starfield. Scoped weapons can help you clear locations from enemies fast and quietly, so follow our tips to get this weapon. In the meantime, please take a look at our guide on how to complete Grunt Work.
