Pokemon Scarlet and Violet received many new Pokemon along with the new DLC. Some of them are familiar to you from previous generations, while others are completely new. However, among them, there are two Pokemon that will confuse most players. And, of course, we’re talking about Poltchageist and Sinistcha, which are similar to Polteageist and Sinistea. However, they differ not only in a few letters but in their evolution. So, read on to learn how to evolve Poltchageist into Sinistcha in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Teal Mask.

As we said, Poltchageist and Sinistcha are similar to Polteageist and Sinistea. However, the way they evolve is radically different, namely Poltchageist evolves into Sinistcha, while Sinistea evolves into Polteageist. In simple terms, you need to first catch Poltchageist in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Teal Mask.

This Grass and Ghost-type Pokemon can be found in bamboo groves. We recommend you look for it in the southeast of Kitakami. However, it is worth noting that you can catch two different versions of this Pokemon, namely Counterfeit and Masterpiece. These versions are almost no different except for the items required for their evolutions.

How To Evolve Poltchageist Into Sinistcha

Since Poltchageist is a Pokemon exclusive to The Teal Mask, you will need a special item to evolve it, namely the Teacup. Finding it can be quite hard, as it spawns only in two locations in The Teal Mask. Moreover, both of them contain different versions of the item.

Like Poltchageist, Teacup has two variations. However, unlike Pokemon, you don’t need to rely on luck to find the right Teacup. Instead, players can simply check out a specific cave:

  • Unremarkable Teacup – Can be found in one of the caves in Paradise Barrens.
  • Masterpiece Teacup – Can be found in a cave on the outskirts of Timeless Woods.

After that, open your inventory and find the Teacup item there. The Unremarkable Teacup is needed for evolving Counterfeit Poltchageist, while the Masterpiece Teacup is needed for the Masterpiece version of the Pokemon. Pick the one that suits your Pokemon and use it to evolve Poltchageist into Sinistcha in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Teal Mask.

That’s all you need to know about how to get Sinistcha in The Teal Mask. This unique Pokemon will come in handy during your adventures, so follow our tips to find Poltchageist and evolve it. And while you are here, take a look at our guide on how to get Terapagos in The Teal Mask.
