There is no shortage of great side quests in Starfield. You can grab them by accidentally talking to someone, listening to NPCs chatting, or bonding a strong relationship with your companion and completing their story quest. The Divided Loyalties is the quest of Andreja; however, before starting, it is best to upgrade your ship and grab your best weapons since there will be some tough battles to fight. So, here is how to complete the Divided Loyalties quest in Starfield.
Divided Loyalties Quest Walkthrough in Starfield
As you spend more time with a companion, they will start to trust and like you. Eventually, they will speak to you about a personal matter which leads to their quest. In the case of Andreja’s Divided Loyalties, she wants to find her friends that she left behind during a Va’ruun attack. So, the first step in initiating the quest is to speak with Andreja.
Looking For Eren in Aggie’s
After you’ve talked with Andreja, she will say that one of her friends, Eren Bascolm, could be in Akila City on the planet of Akila in the Cheyenne system. Once you’ve traveled there, head to the west side of the city and look for Aggie’s.
When you arrive at Aggie’s, Eren won’t be there, so you have to speak with Aggie, the owner of the establishment. Talking with Aggie will reveal some interesting background info about Andreja and Eren, but eventually, she will say that Eren is now in Hyla II.
Search Eren’s Camp in Hyla II
Hyla II is located in the Hyla system, and you can directly land at Eren’s Camp. Once you get out of the ship, be prepared for some combat between you and the Zealots. After you’ve taken care of Zealots, Andreja will find something she didn’t wish to see. We won’t mention what it is to avoid spoilers.
Andreja will say that Jaeda Huang is the next person they should track down. But before that, you have to go to Eren’s home on the third floor and grab Eren’s Slate, where you will find an Expert Contraband Cache as well. You can sell the items when you are looking for Jaeda.
Speak With Andreja To Start Looking for Jaeda in Divided Loyalty Quest in Starfield
After you’ve grabbed the items from Eren’s home, speak with Andreja, and she will give you a little background on Jaeda Huang. There will be a little plot twist regarding how Eren knew Tomisar Ka’dic since he was Andreja’s contract for her undercover mission and didn’t know Eren or Jaeda.
Eventually, Andreja will state that they could find Jaeda at The Den. The Den is located in the Wolf system, and you can dock at the station there. If you grabbed the Contraband Crate before looking for Jaeda, speak to the Trade Authority rep and sell it.
Finding Jaeda Huang
You have two options to know where Jaeda is. The first one is to speak with Orval, the bartender downstairs. He will ask you for 1,000 credits in return for the information. The second option is to head upstairs and talk with Rayna Marquez. She will tell you where Jaeda is if you pass the persuasion challenge. If you couldn’t pass it, then you have to give Orval the 1,000 credits to learn about Jaeda’s whereabouts.
Speaking With Jaeda in Divided Loyalty Quest in Starfield
Jaeda will be hanging around in the Anomaly located in the Groombridge system that is on the north side of the star map. As you are speaking with Jaeda, a bunch of Zealot ships will arrive, and you have to engage in a dogfight with them. After the fight, she will say that her Grav Drive is fried, and she is stuck with you for now.
Then, you have to dock with Jaeda’s ship and go inside. Then she will point a gun at Andreja, and they will have a little argument on why Jaeda blames Andreja for everything and shows her evidence as well. Before they reach an agreement, the Zealot Captain will arrive.
Defeat the Zealot Captain
You have to go back to your ship and start battling with the captain. After you’ve dealt with him, speak with Andreja once again. She will open up more about her past to you and eventually say that you and her must meet Tomisar, her contract back in the day.
Speak with Tomisar in Derelict Station
Then you and Andreja have to travel to the Derelict Station located in the Muphrid system. After you’ve docked the ship, you have to follow Andreja to meet Tomisar. She truly knows her way around here since she opens a secret passage that leads directly to Tomisar Ka’dic’s home.
Then, they will start an argument about why Tomisar and House Va’ruun betrayed her. Then, you will be represented with the choice of whether she should kill Tomisar or let him live.
Should You Let Tomisar Live and Let Andreja Kill Him?
This is the choice you have to make on your own. The consequences of this choice don’t affect the main story or questlines in the future. It is just that the game wants you to think about how you would decide in a situation like this. After you’ve made your choice, speak with Andreja again and then return to the Lodge to finish the quest.
