After taking down incredible beasts and breathtaking bossesย in Lies of P, you’ll start feeling as though your weapons could be better than they currently are. Fortunately, you’re able to upgrade both your weapons, alter your handles, and assemble weapons inย Lies of P as you progress through the story. In order to make doing that easier on you, we’ve written out a guide on how to upgrade weapons in Lies of P down below.

Where Can You Upgrade Weapons In Lies Of P

How To Upgrade Weapons in Lies of P

The first thing you’re going to want to do is head over to Hotel Kratย and speak withย Eugenie. She is located just in front of the lobby inside the building on the first floor. There is a bit of a catch though. You won’t be able to do this until you’ve defeated the Parade Master, which acts as the ending of the game’s gameplay tutorial, opening up the rest of Krat. In upgrading your weapons, you’ll be able to upgrade the blade and change out the handle as you do this.

How Do You Upgrade Weapons?

Speaking with Eugenie will yield a few options options:

  • Upgrade Weapon:
    • You’ll be able to upgrade your blade and handle as a whole by using Ergo and other materials, including Crescent Moonstones.
  • Alter Handle:
    • Altering the handle requires Ergo and Motivity Cranks and can alter the Motivity, Technique, and Advance of the weapon.
  • Assemble Weapons:
    • You can choose which blade you will combine with which handle. You don’t need to pay to assemble your weapons inย Lies of P the same way you would need to pay Ergo and some sort of other material when upgrading your weapon or altering your handle. Blades affect the first special move of your weapon whereas the handle affects the stats we mentioned above as well as the second special move of the weapon.
  • Talk:
    • This option will allow you and Eugenie to have a conversation about the things happening in Krat.

After defeating the Mad Donkey boss, you’ll obtain an item called the Enigma Assembly Tool that will allow you to assemble weapons inย Lies of P at any Stargazer that you can find in the game. Of course, you are always more than welcome to visit Hotel Krat once you’ve gained this ability, but it is much faster to assemble your weapons at the Stargazer.
