Evolutions in EA FC 24 will allow you to level up and customize players by completing in-game objectives in the Ultimate Team. These include individual skills, PlayStyles, overall ratings, and more. This is essential for squad building as it ensures that player cards remain updated and have permanent changes throughout the season.

You won’t only upgrade your players by using this feature. While doing this, you will also be able to change the appearance of your player cards with new and animated backgrounds. For instance, when you upgrade Lionel Messi to Level 1 from the Base Item, the golden player card will turn green. In advanced levels, the background will change even more.

Please be aware that not every player in Ultimate Team is compatible with every Evolution. To start the process, you should choose a player card that meets the requirements of the Evolution you have selected.

Some Evolutions will be free during the season, but some of them will require FC Points and Coins. Moreover, the number of these options will increase over time. Besides, note that you can only select one player at a time to upgrade. There will be no limit to the number of Evolution players you can have in your squad.

Below are the steps you need to follow to improve your player using Evolutions;

  1. Access Ultimate Team.
  2. Head to the Club tab.
  3. Go to the Evolutions tab.
  4. Choose “Available Evolutions.”
  5. Select the Evolution you intend to initiate. Some Evolutions may require FC Points or Coins for unlocking.
    • Check out the requirements and submit an eligible player.
    • Note: Once a player is confirmed in an Evolution, it becomes untradeable.
  6. Head to “My Evolutions.”
    • Pick the Evolution you want to advance and designate it as “Active.”
    • Note: You can only advance one Evolution at a time.
  7. Complete the challenges linked to the Evolution.
  8. Get your upgrades.
