Did you know that you can get a free Zombie Ghost skin in MW2 and Warzone? Simon Riley was apparently bitten by a zombie before MW3‘s release, and this has led to a monster-looking version of Ghost coming into the game. However, there is a certain condition on how you can achieve this skin. Zombie Ghost skin is carry-over content for MW3, and here’s how you can unlock it in the game to currently use in MW2 and Warzone.
You can unlock the Zombie Ghost skin in MW2 and Warzone by pre-ordering Modern Warfare 3. This skin is exclusive to the players who have purchased MW3 early, and you can use it after the Season 6 update arrives on September 27. This means that you can have this skin only by buying the next Call of Duty game before November 10, 2023.
The Zombie Ghost is in fact a Ghost Nightwar skin that has transformed to an infected version of the character. This is because the new Modern Warfare 3 game is going to have a Zombies mode besides Multiplayer and Campaign. However, something that really got us thinking is that based on the recent MW3 Zombies trailer, now Modern Warfare characters of the main story are somehow in the zombie narrative as well.
This is all courtesy of Victor Zakhaev’s return as the one responsible for the zombie outbreak. In the MW3 Zombies trailer, we see a new zombie outbreak begin in an unknown location, and then, Kate Laswell and Soap brief Operation Deadbolt to us as the players. Now this is so interesting because the zombies mode narrative and level designs are managed by Treyarch, and it is canon to the Black Ops Cold War Zombies mode story.
That said, are zombies a part of the campaign story as well in MW3? As of right now, we must take all the rumors and theories with a grain of salt until the game’s official release. For instance, Simon Riley might actually get bitten by a zombie in this mode’s story!
