Whether you’re new to Blox Fruits or hunting down Sea Beasts in the endgame, PvP will inevitably knock on your door and it’s important to have the best fruit equipped when it does. Generally speaking, the rarity of your fruit tends to match its place on the tier list. Common fruits like Rocket aren’t as powerful as the Legendary Buddha fruit. Damage isn’t the only important factor for PvP, utility and crowd control are a must against other Roblox players, like teleporting, stuns, AOE, and speed.
Buddha
[Update August 21, 2024 – Rewrote guide and updated entries.]
This one’s for the players that don’t care for fruit powers. If you want to be a walking, talking god, capable of leveling players with nothing but your melee attacks, Buddha is for you. The hitboxes for your M1 attacks are massive and Retribution Dash gets you in a player’s face pretty quickly. Your punches also have the benefit of breaking Instinct, which everyone uses in PvP.
The fun part is turning yourself into a near-indestructible tank. Buddha’s form grants 55% damage reduction (when Awakened), but you can stack this effect with passive buffs from races and even accessories. Want crazy defense? Equip the Leviathan Shield and make sure your Aura is on!
Dark
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Dark users are the bane of everyone’s existence (and Venom, too). If a Dark Fruit user catches you, you might as well give up. The Dark Fruit has so many built-in stuns and generous hitboxes for every ability, it’s very hard to avoid them. You only have to be hit by one to experience the rest.
Dark Fruit is also highly effective when you weave it in with a sword or gun build. You don’t have to necessarily use it for damage, either. It’s the stuns you really want, to chain attacks with your sword and keep your combo going.
Dough
In PvP, having the Instinct ability is a must. Most of your moves won’t land when someone has it activated. Dough is one of the few fruits in Blox Fruits wherein each ability breaks Instinct, including your basic M1 attacks. And that’s just the start of Dough’s strengths.
Unlike Buddha, Dough grants you complete immunity against physical attacks from swords, guns, and fighting styles, until your opponent turns on Aura. While they’re struggling to put a dent in your armor, you’re pummeling them with unpredictable abilities or worse, you’ve caught them in Piercing Clothesline.
Rumble
What I like to call the “Stunlock Fruit.” Going up against a Rumble user is frustrating because of the constant threat you’ll be stunlocked. All but Lightning Burst stuns and most moves break Instinct, too. What’s worse is that Electric Flash has such a short cooldown, their movements become unpredictable. And if you don’t have Instinct? Electric Flash can stun!
As if that wasn’t strong enough, Rumble Fruit also grants the same passive as Dough. Swords, guns, and fighting styles deal no damage if the player doesn’t have Aura activated. So while you’re trying to deal damage, they’re smacking you around with big AOE damage and stuns.
Dragon
The Dragon Fruit is godly and arguably one of the coolest fruits in Blox Fruits. Not only does it have an identical passive to Buddha, it’s notably better, but also lets you transform into a massive dragon. And your AOE attacks? Those can effect the entirety of a small island.
Say hello to 62.5% damage reduction when you’re in Dragon Form, and like Buddha, you can stack the effects from Aura and accessories. All the while you’re raining dragon fire down on your enemies with Fire Shower. Your colors changing based on mastery is also a nice touch!
