How To Get (& Use) Arkhium Stock in Genshin Impact (All Mysterious Ore Locations)

Genshin Impact encourages you to explore beyond what’s labeled on your map. An ideal design because you won’t find everything without examining every nook. Case in point: Mysterious Ore. It’s a quest item not labeled on the map, so you’re given minimal guidance on finding it. Once you collect every Mysterious Ore in Genshin Impact, you can work on getting and using Arkhium Stock. You’ll just have to solve some puzzles along the way.

Mysterious Ore Locations in Genshin Impact

Before we can enjoy any rewards in Genshin Impact, we have to track down seven Mysterious Ores. Finding a few of them does require some completing three different quests:

• Unfinished Comedy
• Road to the Singularity
• Treacherous Light of the Depths

The Ore you need is spaced out throughout Fontaine. You can use the map above to reach each one, but these additional details should help if you need more guidance:

1. Simply finish the “Road to Singularity” quest and the Mysterious Ore spawns close to the rewards chest.
2. Follow the “Unfinished Comedy” questline and you’ll find the Ore in the Geode Mine Shaft during the “An Eye for an Eye” section.
3. After you meet Sevgine during “Treacherous Light of Depths,” you can collect the Ore along the way.
4. There’s a small island you can access near a waterfall. Just dive in and fight the strange Thorny Cyst creature to make it out alive.
5. Search the top level of the Experimental Field Generator boss area to find the Mysterious Ore.
6. If you fast-travel to the Central Laboratory ruins, move southeast toward the Hilichurl Camp. There’s a giant robotic structure, and on top of it sits the Ore.
7. Sticking around the Central Laboratory ruins, glide toward the Allogravity-Condensed Water Body. Take out the rubble underneath to find the Ore.

How To Create and Use Arkhium Stock in Genshin Impact

Thankfully, once you have all seven Mysterious Ores in Genshin Impact, you’ll automatically receive Arkhium Stock. Your stack will form into it once you collect the final Ore. This new form is still incomplete though. So, it’s time for the Traveler to keep traveling.

To use the Arkhium Stock, you must reach Bravais’ Press Works in Liffey Region. There are a few ways you can reach this underground area:

• Geode Mine Shaft: Once you complete the World Quest “An Eye for an Eye” in Unfinished Comedy, there’s a current available at the end of the Shaft. You’ll swim through until you reach a gate and a waterfall. Once you go up the metal slopes, you should soon see another pool to dive into. Get through that swimming section, you’ll encounter an enemy and soon reach the Bravais’ Press Works.
• Millennial Pearl Seahorse: If you don’t want to deal with the Geode Mine Shaft, you can always head southeast of the Seahorse’s chamber. There’s a waterway that leads to the Press Works.
• Kuisel’s Clockwork Workshop: Going through the “Road to Singularity” will lead you to the Workshop, and there’s a hidden tunnel you can find right before you go to the last room. It’ll take you to the Press Works.

Now that we’re in the right spot, you can’t miss the giant mechanism near the end of the room. Head to the glowing yellow spot and enter the Arkhium Stock. But of course, like how gathering all the Mysterious Ores didn’t end this Genshin Impact journey, neither does entering the Arkhium Stock into the machine.

You must complete a puzzle. It’s basically to ensure the pipelines don’t leak. It’s easy to solve though:

1. From where you’re at, head east to find the pipeline. Rotate the handwheel at least twice so that you don’t see the gas leakage.
2. For the southern pipeline, the handwheel is missing. Glide down below to find it lying in the grass near a pair of enemies. After an easy fight, retrieve the handwheel, go back up, and insert it. It should take one rotation to solve the problem.
3. The final pipeline is northwest. Like with the eastern one, just turn the handwheel twice, and it should work.

Using the Power Supply System

Return to the Forging Press Device and press it to activate it. But things aren’t that simple. Be sure to press it immediately when you see it emit a circular light. You want it to overheat, so keep doing it until it does.

Pyro Slime enemies should show up now, but they’re quick to defeat. What you do need is a Hydro/Cryo character to handle the heat window. From here, we activate the Cooling System by jumping to the lower section and finding a Hydroculus. Break the rock underneath it and the area floods. Once you return to the Power System and press it again, it’ll eventually stall.

There are still several steps left here. It’s quite surprising just how far those Mysterious Ores grew into a much larger Genshin Impact quest. 

With the System fully malfunctioning, do the following:

1. Dive into the water to find and absorb the Hunter’s Ray Ability to free the Xenochromatic Jellyfish
2. When it’s free, absorb its ability to destroy the enemies spawning around the area
3. Behind the Power Supply System, activate the Emergency Drainage Function
4. Return to the Power System and follow the prompts to continue forging

This little resource goes through quite the pathing in Genshin Impact, starting from Mysterious Ores, turning into Arkhium Stock, and lastly transforming into Arkhium Lumenite. Nothing left to do but use it. If you take the Waypoint south of the Experimental Field Generator, there’s a hole you can slide into on the west of that. It unlocks a secret room that hides several useful rewards.
