Dawson added that she was excited, thrilled, and willing to appear on screen again. A few months later, the 44-year-old reaffirmed her desire to work on a second season. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Dawson noted that she hoped fans would love season one and possibly push for a second season.
What Is the Ahsoka Series All About?
The series is set years after the events of the 1983 film Return of the Jedi. It follows the Clone Wars veteran and former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to the galaxy. The threat is believed to be connected to Grand Admiral Thrawn, a Chiss tactician who served the Galactic Empire. Thrawn disappeared into the Unknown Regions at the end of the Star Wars Rebels animated series. Ahsoka Tano’s journey brings her into contact with several characters from both the live-action and animated Star Wars universes. These include Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulla, and Ezra Bridger. She will also face off against new enemies, including a mysterious figure known as the Magistrate.
