In big MMORPGs like New World, mounts are extremely important. Obviously, the biggest reason for this is that the maps of these games are huge, and you can easily travel great distances with mounts. You can finally get your hands on mounts with the new Rise of the Angry Earth expansion. However, there are some requirements you need to meet, and quest to complete to get a mount in New World. Let’s take a look at how to complete the quests “A Change in the Wilds” and “My Kingdom for a Horse”, which you need to complete to get a mount.
How To Unlock Horse in New World
In order to unlock mounts in New World, you must first be Level 25. Then you must complete the mount quest called “A Change in the Wilds” and “My Kingdom for a Horse” in New World. After you meet these 3 requirements you can get your horse.
As soon as you reach Level 25 in New World, you can see the mount quest A Change in the Wilds in your Journal. This quest is located in the Everfall area. To complete it, go to the horseshoe icon and read the Mud-Stained Note. Then you need to go to the NPC named Jochi Khan to complete the quest. The easiest way to get to this NPC is to Fast Travel to Shadowmine Shrine.
After you complete A Change in the Wilds mount quest in New World, the same NPC will give you the My Kingdom for a Horse mission. Follow the mission icon on the compass above and reach the cave.
Then in this cave, you must commune with the Beast Lords and collect azoth-infused oats. Immediately afterward, give these oats to the stray horse outside the cave and hand the quest back to Jochi Khan.
