Call of Duty: Warzone is a fun game until you realize that your favorite weapon isn’t killing other players as fast as it did in the previous Seasons. The meta of the weapons and equipment changes every time you download many GBs of updates over Warzone. And sometimes you won’t even download anything, and yet the meta suddenly changes! Currently, the best Warzone AR in Season 6 is not the Lachmann-556 or Kastov 556 loadouts anymore. A new rival has risen to become the best in the Assault Rifles category, and here’s the best setup you can use with it to dominate the Haunting Halloween event in Call of Duty.
Best Kastov-74u AR Loadout in Season 6
- Stock: Spetsnaz S10 Stock
- Laser: FSS Ole-V Laser
- Barrel: BR209 Barrel
- Muzzle: Harbinger D20
- Magazine: 45 Round Mag
The Kastov family always offers power in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone, and the Kastov-74u isn’t an exception. This is the current meta AR of Warzone Season 6, and it has received some serious buffs, listed in the recent patch notes of the game.
Kastov-74u Season 6 Buffs:
- Close Damage Range increased
- Close-mid Damage Range increased
These are the changes that have been made to the Kastov-74u. And what’s more important is that this AR was buffed once more, even before this Season began! Right now, it is an absolute nightmare to fight against it in close to mid-range, and this loadout setup will make it even stronger in that case.
First, you would need a Spetsnaz S10 Stock, suitable for adding ADS speed and ADS Walking speed. Then, add some weight by applying a Harbinger D20 silencer to your weapon. This attachment is a pretty solid addition to your gun, both in terms of adding accuracy and the damage you need to take down a foe.
Next, the BR209 barrel is a current trend of this weapon to use in Season 6. This attachment adds ADS speed to your weapon, but it seems like it lowers the amount of damage the weapon deals to the opponent; it’s only on paper and not that much of a practical thing.
The final additions to the best Season 6 AR loadout in Warzone are the FSS Ole-V laser, which seems to be the twin brother of VLK LZR that we use for the SMG category weapons and the magazine upgrade. After adding mobility and accuracy with the laser, it’s time to slap that 45 Round Magazine under your Kastov-74u, and you’re ready to go.
Long-Range AK-74u Setup
- Barrel: KSTV-17
- Muzzle: FJX Fulcrum Pro
- Stock: KSTV-RPK Factory
- Optic: Aim OP-V4
- Magazine: 45 Round Magazine
Now Kastov-74u isn’t the best option for hitting ranged shots. However, there are some attachments that you can borrow from the wise old LMG of the Kastov family for it: the RPK. First, add the KSTV-17 barrel, which improves your weapon’s stats in terms of damage, range, and accuracy. This is taken directly from the elder Kastovs and works just fine on the 74u variation.
Next, you’ll need a KSTV-RPK Factory stock. This will make your 74u look like an actual LMG, but it won’t be that heavy at all. This stock improves the recoil and gun-kick control over your weapon, which is very useful for hitting range shots. However, you’ll still need one more muscle to make this one of the best range-hitting AR loadouts of Warzone Season 6.
The next vital attachment here for the recoil control department of Kastov-74u is the FJX Fulcrum Pro. This is an absolute beast of a muzzle that controls both the horizontal and vertical recoil of your weapon. Next, add an optic like Aim OP-V4, with which you can hit mid to long-range shots. And in the end, just slap that 45 Round Magazine under the weapon again, and everything is ready.
This Kastov-74u build is an absolute monster-eater for The Haunting event that has been recently added to the game. Make sure to use the items you see in the image above for maximum effort to have the best Warzone Season 6 AR loadout.
