Marvel has one of the largest universes regarding superhero characters, which encompasses villains and anti-heroes. For the latter, Venom is one of the favorites in the Spiderverse. Since we saw the announcement of it coming to Insomniac’s latest game, everyone wanted to know who’s behind the symbiote mask. Given that one of the famous hosts is Eddie Brock, fans are eager to know if he appears in Spider-Man 2. If you’re one of those who wants to know, you’ve come to the right place.
Spider-Man 2: Does Eddie Brock Show Up?
Bad news for the Eddie Brock fan base, he doesn’t appear in the game. He isn’t even mentioned in the story, which might make a few people sad. However, this is all understandable, as we know who’s the new host for the iconic symbiote. As always, spoiler warning, as we’ll be mentioning who’s one of the antagonists in the game.
Who Is Venom in Spider-Man 2?
Harry Osborn is host to the famous symbiote in Insomniac’s latest game. We didn’t initially expect this, as many fans theorized he’d be the Green Goblin due to a few subtle clues in the first entry. However, the developers tried mixing things to create an original story, which paid off.
While many would’ve loved to see Eddie Brock don the symbiote suit in Spider-Man 2, that wasn’t the case. Still, don’t let that discourage you because the team behind this game nailed all story aspects, making it, yet again, a story worthy of our friendly neighbors.
