First, keep him backed into a corner so that his most dangerous move, the Blood Pools, will only be concentrated in a single area as opposed to the entire area. You will also want to prioritize the Blood Seekers when Lord Zir summons them because they will begin crowding the area and making it difficult to attack otherwise.
Some moves, including Wing Flap and Blood Orbs, have a delay before he can initiate them, marking on the ground where the attack will land. You will need to be careful in luring Zir into a corner and dodging the attacks.
