How To Take Selfies & Change Poses in Spider-Man 2

Although creating snapshots of the marvelous New York City isn’t as important as web-swinging with your favorite superhero in Spider-Man 2, it still creates a buzz within the community. The previous installment had a fantastic selfie and photo mode that allowed you to take selfies in a ton of poses, but what about Spider-Man 2? Thanks to the PS5’s immense power, you will be able to create some beautiful pictures, though it needs a little workaround, as it is not straightforward like in the previous Spider-Man game.

In Spider-Man 2, there’s no specific button to take selfies, unlike in earlier games. However, you can still snap some selfies using the Photo Mode:

Enter Photo Mode: Press the Options button and select Photo Mode from the menu.
Adjust Camera Type: Change the camera type setting to “Orbit” for more control.
Zoom In: Use the left analog stick to zoom in on Spider-Man.
Hide the UI: Press Triangle to remove the user interface elements from your view.
Take the Shot: Capture your selfie by using the Share button and confirm with “Capture Screen.”
Experiment with the camera: You will have the chance to experiment with various poses and actions to create unique selfies.

To change your character’s pose and capture different photos in Spider-Man 2, follow these steps within Photo Mode:

Character Mode: Start by entering Photo Mode, and then select “Character Mode.” Here, you will find a list of preset poses to choose from.
Change Pose: You will have the option to rotate these preset poses and even change your character’s facial expression in Spider-Man 2.
Lighting Setup: You will have plenty of options to enhance your photos, including the “Lighting Mode,” which will help you set up independent lights.
Camera Adjustments: Additionally, you can modify camera settings such as Field of View (FOV) and Depth of Field (DOF) to get the desired look for your photos.
Clean Look: Remember to hide the user interface (UI) using the provided option. This results in cleaner and more focused photos.
