In the titular Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, you play as both Peter Parker and Miles Morales as they traverse New York City as their personal Spider-Man. You’ll be learning new techniques and abilities to help keep the citizens of New York safe against all of the enemies that the two of them have collectively. One of the abilities you’ll want to learn right out the gate is throwing enemies. Since this is essential to most of the game, we wrote out exactly how to throw enemies in Spider-Man 2.

To throw enemies, press and hold the triangle button. Once you’ve got an enemy at the end of your web, you can perform two sorts of yanks that do great damage.

  • Directional Yank
    • Press L2 or R2 to yank enemies either left or right.
  • Web Yank Slam
    • Press and hold L2 and R2 to lift enemies in the air and then slam them into the ground.

Not only are you able to do those, but you can also do a variety of different types of throws depending on your skills.

Throwing Skills

The skills that affect how you can throw your enemies, as well as how to do them, are listed below:

Bounce UpThrow enemies that are in the air on the ground, causing them to bounce back up.
Web ThrowYou can throw stunned, webbed, or electrified enemies by pressing and holding the triangle button.

Pairing all these different types of throws will surely confuse your enemies as you throw them in all directions.
