Lost Memento is a black and matte weapon shader that was newly added to the game with this year’s Halloween event. Mementos are unique shaders that you can use for your crafted weapon. Lost Memento also comes with a unique kill tracker and a title. However, grabbing this special item is not as easy as it seems. To get the Lost Memento and other Halloween rewards, you must complete the Twilight Triumph in Destiny 2.

This event consists of three challenges; you can see them by heading to Triumphs, Season of the Witch, and then General. The hard part is in order to complete the event challenges; you must first obtain three masks from the game’s event rewards. You’ll need to wear these masks to complete the challenges. Then, you can get the Lost Memento reward. Here is how to get all the masks:

  • Cryptozoologist: Use Manifested Pages to restore a chapter in “The Tales of the Forgotten – Vol 3”. You’ll get the Clovis Bray Mask after this.
  • Heads Will Roll: Defeat 100 Headless Ones in Haunted Sectors. You will get the Tormentor Mask after this.
  • Hocus Focusing: Focus on an Eerie Engram. You’ll get the Nimbus Mask after this.

Once you have all three masks, you can now complete the remaining challenges for the Lost Memento. Getting the masks was the hard part, now, you can complete the easy part by wearing the masks. Here’s all the challenges you’ll need to complete for the Lost Memento:

  • Complete the Fallen S.A.B.E.R strike in the Cosmodrome while wearing the Clovis Bray mask.
  • Kill 100 enemies on Neomuna while wearing the Nimbus Mask.
  • Use finishers on 25 enemies in Legend Haunted Sectors while wearing the Tormentor Mask.

Upon completing the Twilight Triumph, you’ll get your Lost Memento and can use it on any crafted weapon of your choice. This shader makes your weapon fully black and gives it an elegant look. Also, the Lost Memento has one such cool Headless One tracker and the title “Head-Taker”. Remember that you can only use a Lost Memento on one weapon. Therefore, you should make your choice wisely.
