Honkai: Star Rail’s Latest Character Preview Features Topaz and Numby’s Skills
While we all saw them during the latest Special Program, it’s great to finally have the official information for the skills of this duo. If you didn’t know, Topaz and Numby’s skills rely on follow-up attacks. By applying the Proof of Debt status to an enemy, every follow-up attack will increase Numby’s speed, letting them attack again. This is a new gimmick to the game and one that is welcome by many players as the follow-up meta might have a chance to shine in most of the game’s content. Here are a few of the other skills revealed during the character preview of Topaz and Numby in Honkai: Star Rail:
- Deficit (Basic Attack): Deals Fire damage to a single enemy.
- Explicit Subsidy (Technique): Summons Numby to the overworld to help you find treasures. After ending a battle, Topaz earns extra credits if she’s still on your team. There’s a limit to how many extra credits you can obtain per day.
- Trotter Market (Talent): Numby’s action advances whenever an ally hits an enemy with a follow-up attack while they have the Proof of Debt status.
- Difficulty Paying (Skill): Inflicts damage to an enemy with the Proof of Debt status and increases the damage the enemy receives from follow-up attacks.
As you can see, Topaz and Numby will be a fantastic addition to any team. Even if some don’t enjoy the whole follow-up gameplay, it’ll be nice to have a proper Fire DPS character, which is long overdue. So, prepare your Stellar Jade and Special Passes because this dynamic duo will arrive on October 27.
