FFXIV: Where To Buy Bold and the Braid Hairstyle
First of all, it’s worth noting that you can get the Bold and the Braid Hairstyle in FFXIV in two ways:
- First, you can buy it for six Aloalo Potsherds by completing Aloalo Island Dungeons.
- Alternatively, you can trade with other players.
If you prefer the long and thorny path, you must unlock and visit the Aloalo Island Variant/ Criterion Dungeons. By completing these dungeons, you can earn Aloalo Potsherds and buy the coveted hairstyle. You only need to find the Trisassant NPC in Old Sharlayan and at the coordinates (X: 12.0, Y: 13.3). Please note that you will not be able to accept this quest until you talk to Osmon in the same area (X:11.9 Y:13.3).
However, going into dangerous dungeons just for the sake of hairstyle is not the best solution. So you should know about an easier way. Since the Bold and the Braid hairstyle applies to any character regardless of gender or race, you can find it on the Market Board. Many players who are hunting for more valuable Aloalo Island rewards can purchase several hairstyles to earn extra money on the sale. The price is unlikely high, so check the lists of items offered.
