This December, Marvel’s team of elite artists showcase New Year’s Eve in the Marvel Universe with Stormbreakers Variants covers. Throughout the month, these covers show off iconic Marvel heroes, like Iron Man and Daredevil, ringing in the New Year. Eight different covers will be released, one for each of the artists in this year’s Stormbreakers class. These covers feature characters like Ghost Rider wearing “2024” glasses and Daredevil toasting with Elektra on a roof.

Marvel’s Stormbreakers is an annual program that brings together up-and-coming artists within the comic industry. The program offers the opportunity for these individuals to draw some of the biggest events and stories in the Marvel Universe. This year’s class of artists includes Elena Casagrande, Nic Klein, Jan Bazaldua, and Chris Allen. As well as Martin Coccolo, Lucas Werneck, Federico Vicentini, and C.F. Villa.

These artists go on to become household names and some of the most recognized illustrators in comics. Now, this year’s crop is ending the year with some fun in these new Stormbreakers Variants for the New Year.

These new variants kick off with December 6th’s Invincible Iron Man #13. For this Stormbreakers Variant, C.F. Villa shows Tony Stark and Emma Frost ringing in 2024 with a kiss. The following week, Lucas Werneck has Daredevil and Elektra toasting the new year with some champagne in Daredevil: Gang War #1. Plus, Elena Casagrande tackles White Widow #2 with some fancy attire. Then Federico Vicentini makes it an X-Men New Year’s party for X-Men Red #18.

Daredevil gets in on the action once again in a Stormbreakers Variant for Daredevil: Black Armor #2 from Martin Coccolo. This time, the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen spells out “2024” with his iconic cane weapon. Nic Klein’s cover for Superior Spider-Man #2 makes New Year’s Eve a party, complete with a Spider-band. It’s another party in Chris Allen’s cover for Deadly Hands of Kung Fu: Gang War #1. Finally, Jan Bazaldua gives Ghost Rider some new eyewear for Ghost Rider #21.
